History
Back in 2004 while browsing online Brian happened to see Ashley's photo on an online picture rating website. Thinking she was very attractive but not having any way to contact her he shrugged it off. He figured she probably didn’t even live anywhere near him anyway.
Fast forward a few weeks later, while on the social networking site MYSPACE, Brian sees the same photo on Ashley’s personal profile page. Amazingly, she lives only 10 minutes away! He sends her a message, and through a shared interest in music, movies, and lifestyles the two formed a connection and decided to meet in October of 2004 at the age of 19.
They dated for a short period before separating to do some growing up. Not long after that Brian ended up moving to Las Vegas but the two kept in touch with each other occasionally online. In the summer of 2007 when Brian came back to the Bay Area he and Ashley were able to reconnect and they have been pretty much inseparable ever since!
Engagement
The couple took a trip to Florida for Brian's big sister's wedding in January 2012. They were fortunate enough to spend time at Disney World and the Universal Studio parks which was a first for Ashleyand since she is a huge Harry Potter fan the couple made sure to visit the Wizarding World of Harry Potter. After an exciting morning at Olivander's purchasing their very own wands the couple sat down to lunch with their butterbeers in the Three Broomsticks; there in a cozy nook Brian found the perfect opportunity to pop the question. And of course she said yes!
